Frequently Asked QUestions

What Services do you offer?

At Living Legacies, we offer individual, couple/marital, and group therapy. Each individual seeking services must first meet to complete an intake assessment (diagnostic evaluation) to determine the best treatment approach. This appointment will also include a discussion about your preferences and the identification of goals. All persons interested in group therapy require a referral from a current provider.

what should I expect from my first visit?

Your first visit will comprise an intake assessment. This visit typically takes up to 1 hour and is used to obtain information surrounding the need for services. Some of the questions may feel intrusive and/or sound repetitive, but they are designed to gather pertinent information needed to guide treatment. During the initial assessment, you will also complete paperwork including but not limited to, consent for treatment, releases of information, insurance/billing information, etc.

do you accept WALK-INS?

Though Living Legacies would enjoy the privilege of being your provider of choice, we realize that people have different needs, styles, and preferences. Open dialogue is regularly encouraged and consistent, and genuine interest in your needs is a priority. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, are uncomfortable, unable, or simply are no longer interested in continuing service, please let us know and we will ensure that your discharge is as comprehensive, seamless, and attentive as it began. We hate to see you go, but the doors are always open should you reconsider down the road.

do you offer early morning, evening, or weekend appointments?

Living Legacies understands that flexibility is the spice of life. If your need is for early morning, weekend, or evening appointments, please make mention of this during your intake appointment and all efforts will be made to accommodate.
